Manufacturing Engineer
Our client, an industry leader in aerospace components, is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer in their Bedford Park, IL location.
You'll showcase your leadership abilities by effectively communicating business goals, programs, and processes related to shop floor support, precision machinery, and process improvement for a specific area or business segment.

Up to $90,000, plus 7% bonusAbout the Role:
Lead and provide mechanical engineering expertise in product design, manufacturing process development, and capital equipment development.
Act as the technical lead for the operations group during new product introductions.
Collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Ensure that product design and process development align with the overall business strategy and production requirements.
Oversee the design, procurement, and construction of necessary tooling and finishing within established budgets, and provide support throughout equipment upgrades, from purchase to installation.
Requirements:
BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline Minimum of 4 years of industry experience, preferably in aerospace.
Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
Heat treat, planting, and high precision experience is desired.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques, Quality System, and SPC tools is preferred.
